Seafood Traders Pty Ltd (reg. est. 6027) was established on its Cambridge, Tasmania site in 1993. Its principle and founder of this family company, Adrian Cuthbertson has over 30 years experience in live abalone export. Mr Cuthbertson pioneered the live abalone industry with the first regular shipments of product to Japan in 1987.

Adrian has a lifetime of experience in the industry ranging from catching to farming and export. He has also pioneered research into the pharmaceutical potential of abalone extracts through the establishment of Marine Biotechnology Australia Pty Ltd (MBA) in 2002.
