Our Facility

Seafood Traders Pty Ltd operates a freehold facility within 5 minutes of Hobart Airport. The plant is fully AQIS and HAACP compliant. 

The export plant at Cambridge, Tasmania has a holding capacity of 7,000kg of live abalone in 50 individual tanks across 9 separate systems. The state of the art facility can accept abalone from all parts of Tasmania and can receive and dispatch product without interruption to the conditioning process.

Seafood Traders Pty Ltd has its own blast freezing plant that is capable of batch freezing IQF abalone meat in less than 45 minutes.
